Building Plans In Pipeline
The building work on the site of the Mobil Garage on Palatine Road has been continuing, with foundations and two storeys of the new houses and flats completed so far. The plot stretches from the pavement on Palatine Road back as far as the boundary of the Camperlands site.
Confirmation has been received that the Church Inn building will not be demolished following recent arson attempts and that the new flats will utilise as much of the existing building as possible.
Plans for changes to the Kwik Save building on Palatine Road have recently come to the attention of the Community Update team. Permission for the building to be split into two retail units has been requested from the council and is currently being considered. It is widely expected that permission for this change will be granted with no opposition.
